From April to June 2022, the public was invited to participate in the second countywide survey to provide input on how the land around the trails is utilized. It also focused on additional innovative uses that could be located within the DuPage County trail corridors. Additionally, the survey sought input on countywide wayfinding opportunities and volunteerism supporting native landscaping along the trail. The project team heard from over 800 respondents. Thank you for your time and valuable feedback! Check out the highlights from the second survey findings and stay tuned for next steps!

The plan creates greater awareness in the community of walking and biking, strategies to make non-motorized transit safer, and wayfinding to guide residents to all that the region has to offer. Most importantly, it outlines a robust maintenance program to better connect DuPage communities to transit, natural amenities, and each other.
